Find tickets for upcoming comedy plays at theatres across the UK, distinct from stand-up comedy in that these are scripted theatrical productions written for actors rather than stand-up sets. The comedy plays programme covers classic farces, dark comedies, satirical works, romantic comedies, mystery comedies and contemporary comedy writing - productions from the country's leading touring producers performing at venues including the Alexandra Theatre Birmingham, Theatre Royal Brighton, Richmond Theatre, Sunderland Empire and Manchester Opera House. Most comedy plays run for one week at each venue as part of regular Tuesday-to-Saturday touring schedules, with both evening performances and selected matinees.
