Charlie and the Chocolate Factory extends bookings to 2015
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory have today announced that the show is extending its run at Theatre Royal Drury Lane until 20th May 2015. The new booking period will go on sale from 7th February 2014.
Producers also stated recently that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory broke the West End theatre record for the highest reported weekly gross sales for a second time, taking a total of £1,080,260.00 in the week commencing 30th December 2013. The show set the previous record of £1,062,606.00 in the week commencing 28th October 2013.

The search for the five golden tickets is fast and furious. Charlie Bucket, the unsuspecting hero, defies all odds by claiming the fifth and final ticket. A poor but virtuous boy, Charlie lives in a tiny house with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bucket, and all four of his grandparents. The golden ticket sends Charlie and his Grandpa Joe on a spectacular adventure beyond either of their wildest imaginations.
