An Evening of the Absurd: Are we all still Waiting for Godot
An Evening of The Absurd: Are we all still Waiting for Godot? will take you on a journey through the bleak, darkly comic and at times terrifying world of The Absurd.
Closing The Gap are a brand new cutting-edge theatre company forging original, experiential theatre. They want to close the gap between the theatregoers and theatre-makers taking you out of the darkness of the auditorium and into the light of the world they have created.
Their debut show features two contrasting pieces, the first, Breakfast with Chamberlain, follows one man’s attempts to change the course of history and a family’s tragic experiences of war.
The second piece, Glory Days, captures the eve of a very important event. Tales of loss, ambitions of controlling the future and the perpetual search for the ever-elusive weasel under the cocktail cabinet leads to both tragic and hilarious consequences.
Closing The Gap held a launch party to raise vital funds to produce their show for Camden Fringe. As part of the event they showcased a devised workshop based on their forthcoming show which was described as ‘Innovative, funny and incredibly clever’
