Calendar Girls

Calandar Girls at The Noel Coward Theatre London

Book from a Selection of London Theatre Breaks

'A marvellous, uplifting night at the theatre'
Daily Mail.

'A show whose feel-good factor is sky high'
The Guardian.

'The stage version of Calendar Girls achieves the rare and pleasing feat of outstripping the film both in terms of heart and humour. One of the most enjoyable evenings theatre has produced'
Evening Standard.

Following the success of the fastest-selling tour in history and with a glowing set of reviews, Calendar Girls is now set to conquer London's West End.

A group of extraordinary women, members of a very ordinary Yorkshire Women's Institute, spark a global phenomenon by persuading one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference! As interest snowballs, the Calendar Girls find themselves revealing more than they had ever planned....

A very British story, with a very British heart, Calendar Girls is based on an uplifting and very inspiring true story that is quirky, poignant and hilarious.

Starring Lynda Bellingham, Patricia Hodge, Sian Phillips, Gaynor Faye, Brigit Forsyth, Julia Hills and Elaine C. Smith.

Calendar Girls is a 2003 British comedy film directed by Nigel Cole. The screenplay by Tim Firth and Juliette Towhidi is based on the true story of a group of Yorkshire women who produced a nude calendar to raise money for Leukaemia Research under the auspices of the Women's Institute.
