Caissie Levy, star of Ghost and Hair will celebrate the release of her new EP ‘With You’ with a night of live music at The Hippodrome Casino, The Matcham Room, Saturday Jan 26th at 11pm and Sunday Jan 27th at 6.30pm.
Composer David Are will also celebrate the release of his double-disc concept albums, “A Few For Friends”/”Friends For A Few”.
Caissie and David will perform different sets at each show and will be joined by different special guests each night. Guests will be Oliver Tompsett, Gavin Creel, Jenny Fitzpatrick & Paul Ayres on Saturday night and Jodie Jacobs, Carley Stenson, Gavin Creel, Jenny Fitzpatrick & Paul Ayres on Sunday night.
Levy’s debut solo EP, “With You,” features acoustic arrangements of songs from her Broadway shows. It also includes a remix of “With You” from Ghost, produced by Glen Ballard and Dave Stewart, and a brand-new song written by Eric Hutchinson.
“A Few For Friends”/”Friends For A Few” are double-disc companion albums – one acoustic, one electronic – featuring Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel, Matt Doyle, Richard Fleeshman, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Celisse Henderson, Levy and more.
