ITV talent search Superstar reached its climax last night and, at last, we have a winner! Our congratulations to Ben Forster, whose consistently strong performances during the live shows won him the coveted lead role in the upcoming, spectactular UK tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Ben will take centre stage in the stellar revival of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic show, in an Arena Tour production starring Tim Minchin as Judas Iscariot, Chris Moyles as King Herod and former Spice Girl – and Superstar judge – Melanie C as Mary Magdalene.
